FREE ADMISSION.

The work was premiered on March 9th of 1984, and has been a significant part of the timpani repertoire ever since. Press release below.

“On March 1st, ECCE will feature University of Oregon percussion student, Grayson Fiske, as soloist in William Kraft’s Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra. This concerto, featuring one of the orchestra’s most fundamental, yet perhaps one of its most overlooked instruments, combines exciting orchestral energy with the distinctive timbres and power of the timpani. Not to be missed!”
